A good friend of mine did a couple of posts in
her blog about being who you are and praying for those you may not like too much. She is SO right!!
Acting one way with one group so you can "fit in" and then acting a totally different way with another group to "fit in" will cause MAJOR problems. Those groups come together and they see who you are, or should I say aren't, and you'll walk away with a big fat nothing. Be who you are, God made everyone different for a reason. All we have to do is prayerfully seek God and find out who we are in HIM! Remember, if you've asked Christ into your heart then you are a child of God. When people see who you are in Him, and how you act, that might be the only bible they ever hear or see. The only testimony they ever witness. We are amazing works of God and special in every way. Psalms 111:2 says, "The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein."

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." EVERYTHING is made beautiful in HIS time, not yours....His plan for your life is perfect!!! You're NEVER alone, He is with you ALWAYS. :)

DeleteI know many people believe that they aren't beautiful, but then they don't realize what they are doin'. They are not following God and they are looking away from Him. God made each and every one of us "Beautiful and Wonderful" because that's the way he made us. God made us fearfully because that's the way he wanted us to be. Psalm 139:14 says, "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." This means that because the human body is vulnerable God had to make it fearfully. This means that God made us to need him 'cause as much as we might like to believe, we actually DO need God. Without God we are nothing.
ReplyDeleteGod gives His love for us and if we believe that He loves us than we believe that we are beautiful. But, if we don't believe or we just don't know if we have God's Love, then we will never believe we are truly beautiful.
I see people walk around and just look at the exterior of people and they don't find beauty. But let me tell you somethin', God doesn't look at the outside to find beauty, He looks on the inside. If you think about it, a person's beauty is not on the outside, it's on the inside.
So, remember that you are always beautiful no matter what people say. The final words that we, all of us, should listen to is God's word, that says "You're Beautiful"!!
